Criteria for Awards Selection
Recipients of alumni awards shall be chosen by the TFAA Board of Directors using the following criteria:
- They must be a regular member of the Toccoa Falls Alumni Association (except Alumni Service Award recipient).
- Their character and reputation shall be above reproach in their communities.
- Their theology and Biblical principles shall be consistent with the existing standards of Toccoa Falls College.
- They must be regular attending members of a local church whose doctrinal teachings are consistent with existing standards of Toccoa Falls College.
- Their conduct and lifestyle shall be compatible with the existing standards of Toccoa Falls College.
- In addition, the Eagle O’Fame Award recipient must have been out of school for at least five years before their election to the Eagle O’Fame.
They shall have made one or more of the following contributions:
- Served at least ten years as an approved employee of Toccoa Falls College.
- Served as an officer of the Toccoa Falls Alumni Association during whose administration the progress and growth of the TFAA has been outstanding (except Alumni Service Award recipient).
- Served acceptably for at least ten years in some form of Christian service apart from Toccoa Falls College employment.
- Demonstrated, by outstanding service, their commitment to the cause of Christ as a Christian layperson.
