The Toccoa Falls Alumni Association welcomed its newest members into the association Saturday, December 12, 2009, when over 50 seniors graduated with degrees in 27 different majors. We joined with their parents in expressing our pride in their academic accomplishments.
During their formal induction ceremony, they were reminded that graduation was just one of many Divine Intersections they will come to and were encouraged to seek God’s guidance for the road He has mapped out for each individual.
These bright new alumni join over 14,000 alumni already serving around the globe, bringing the love and message of Jesus Christ to millions through their various ministries and professions.
We share in Mrs. Forrest’s May 25, 1941, sentiments regarding graduation: “Commencement days always bring mingled feelings of joy and sorrow. I have joy for those graduating because they have run the race well and have completed the course. But there is sorrow, too, because they are leaving.”
