Class of 2010
Welcome Class of 2010!

We are proud to welcome the May 2010 graduates into the Alumni Association. Saturday morning, May 15, 2010, Sharon Sanderson, Director for Alumni and College Relations, formally inducted 128 graduates from 25 different majors into the association, reminding them of the alumni who led the way for them to rise up and carry forth the heritage of Toccoa Falls College and the banner of Jesus Christ into their various professions and ministries.
Graduation day is always one of bittersweet moments. Mrs. Forrest put it this way May 25, 1941, "commencement days always bring mingled feelings of joy and sorrow. I have joy for those graduating because they have run the race well and completed the course. But there is sorrow, too, because they are leaving."
During their official induction segment, they were reminded of the legacy they were taking with them as they pursue their dreams. They were challenged to not just follow where the path may lead them but to forge a new one as many other alumni before them had done. And, they were reminded of the verse God gave to Dr. Richard A. Forrest when he was called to start the school we have come to cherish, "And, being fully persuaded that what God had promised, He was able to perform." Romans 4:21 We wish them well in their next venture as they go trusting in the Lord to lead them!
These new alumni will join 14,000+ other alumni serving around the world to make a difference through their ministries and professions for the Kingdom of God.
