Campus Clean Up Day
Saturday, March 7, 2009, is our second annual campus clean-up day from 1:00–4:00 p.m. followed by a barbecue for all the workers.
This year’s project areas are: the pond and the walkway to the falls. We will remove the pond liner so the leak can be fixed and the pond refilled so it can be used as intended. The walkway to the falls is full of tree and brush debris from the winter and the fire.
The maintenance staff has worked tirelessly to stay ahead of normal campus landscaping and maintenance issues as well as working on the Gate Cottage clean-up efforts. So this is a perfect time for the campus community to lend a hand and help.
We invite you to join us. We will need approximately 150–180 volunteers to successfully complete these projects. Meet us at the pond-side volleyball court at 12:30 p.m. for your assignment.
Work gloves and appropriate tools will be provided.
