Campus Work Day 2008
Hug a Tree God Planted: 100 Years and Still Growing
On Saturday, March 1, 2008, 100 alumni, faculty, staff, students, and administrators donated precious time and effort to beautify the Toccoa Falls College campus. Everything from mulching to weeding to planting shrubs was accomplished during the four hours.
Once the work for the day was finished, Aramark supplied a picnic dinner on Earl Lawn. Special thanks go to Tom Kelleher and the maintenance crew for their assistance. Sharon Sanderson, Director for College and Alumni Relations said, “There hasn’t been a work day like this in nearly 30 years. It was great to see everyone lending a hand to make the campus a beautiful sight for those visiting.”
