Missionary Hall of Fame
Since the first graduating class, students left here prepared to take the love and message of Jesus Christ into a dying world. We salute the first missionaries who graduated from Toccoa Falls College, Mary Spooner and Annie Thomas in 1915. Many of our alumni have ministered for many years on the mission field, serving people of different color, ideals, and customs, giving up home-land luxuries and vocational opportunities to earn more money. Each of them has stories that would fill volumes.
Our intent here is to introduce a few of them, share their stories, and hopefully raise awareness of the ongoing importance of not only praying for current missionaries but also for the World Missions Department. Our God-directed responsibility of preparing students for today’s international scene and ministry is a key component in the Toccoa Falls College educational mix. Many of our stories are reprinted from Sunbursts, True Adventures of Toccoa Falls College Missionaries by Lorene Moothart, 1992.
Please update your information as your situations/ministry changes.
