M2R - Moments to Remember
This Homecoming we are starting a new project that will go on for many years to come, and that is a virtual library of recorded audio and video memories. For this to be successful and complete, we need YOU! We are looking for personal stories about Dr. Forrest, Mrs. Forrest, Mr. Damron, Dr. Bandy, Miss Sett, your favorite professor or mentor, or your favorite Forrest Hall story, or . . . you get the picture. This is not age-specific. This is for everyone to participate in. This virtual “library” or collection of memories will be housed in a special section of the new alumni website – www.toccoafallsalumni.com.
During Homecoming, we will have a “booth” set up in the President’s Dining Room Friday afternoon and most of Saturday. I strongly urge you to stop by and casually share some of your favorite stories about your years here at TFA, TFI, TFBC, or TFC with the rest of the alumni association.
During the years Dr. and Mrs. Forrest were on campus, they recorded sermons, Bible lessons, and miscellaneous conversations with individuals that have given us a glimpse into their life on our campus. Each student of Toccoa Falls left an imprint here and each of you left with hundreds of memories that you cling to and that you wouldn’t trade for millions of dollars. We all recognize how rich our heritage is – and now, we ask that you share that with the rest of the association and future alumni by recalling your favorite memory.
