“But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully.” I Timothy 1:8
When God created man and he chose to disobey his creator, God saw it necessary to give boundaries, called the law, by which mankind should live. That law was first written down by Moses and observed by the Jewish nation for centuries. Other prophets, scribes, and men of God wrote as the Holy Spirit dictated for centuries prior to Christ’s birth and for many years following His death and resurrection through the days of the Early Church. God’s Word is true, infallible, and provides for us guidelines for living today. It has been used as the basis for establishing civil order, local and international governance, rules of order within a court room, and the basis for our constitution.
